We have renamed this page in our site from “Kids Place” to “A Place for Youth” Our young people have such a hard time growing up in this world. God Is Able wants to help our youth learn and grow in God. This page of our site is specifically for youth 19 years old and under. We want to provide an atmosphere where children can learn about God, how to serve God on their level, and contributing financially to God’s House and more.
Each month we highlight one subject that is important to our youth and provide tools and suggestions to help them cope with this issue in their lives.
Elementary School: Keyon Haynes, 8th Grade - Lake Zurich Middle School North, Lake Zurich, IL
The bible says: "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it". (Proverbs 22:6) We encourage you to bring your children to church every Sunday morning and join in family worship. You will find that families that worship together grow together spiritually and naturally. There is something to do for children of all ages at God Is Able M.B. Church. Currently, we are looking for more helpers on the usher board and the praise dance team. Please see Rev. Fidelia Mitchell if you are interested in joining these ministries.
